The Jane Powertwin Pushchair follows on from another very successful stroller, the Jane Slalom Pro. It is a 3-wheeled tandem design that is ideal for two toddlers, twins or a toddler and baby combination. The aluminium design makes it very lightweight which also make it very manoeuvrable in tight spaces. (The name Jane is Pernounced 'Hannah', Spannish apparently!)
It is designed to allow the back seat to lay flat so that newborn babies can be placed here while the 2-position front seat can then be used for babies from 6 months. The age recommendations for the Jane Powertwin Buggy are from 0-3 years.
And with the use of shock absorbing pneumatic tyres, coupled with adjustable spring suspension on the rear wheels also makes it extremely smooth.
This additional suspension will also help for when baby gets heavier and will mean the pushchair will provide an even and comfortable ride throughtout its lifecycle.
Jane Powertwin Pushchair Features
The rear seat fold down flat for newborns although it doesn't come with a neck restraint, also has a rubber footrest on rear seat as well. If you have a toddler sitting in the front seat, you'll need to ensure their feet are on the footrest otherwise they could catch their feet in the front wheel. This is only one drawback with the Jane Powertwin Stroller.
A few words of advice too when it comes to buying one. You will need the help of someone else when putting it together as, like all things that are built to last this stroller needs a few bits secured to ensure it is at optimum safety and comfort.
You can also buy the Jane Powertwin Pram in a number of snazzy colours. From the dark and boring Noir (Black) to the 'stand out' Cherry or Pigment you are sure to find a colour to your liking.
It also comes with a PVC rain cover which has a number of access holes making it easy to check on babies. Plus it also sports a large shopping asket which can be used to store away all the baby essentials.
And for those thinking of using it in conjunction with car seats then you'll be glad to hear it can handle 1 or 2 Strata car seats making it ideal for twins.
